How Offscript works

You speak on prompts drawn from your chosen subjects, with a few seconds to think first (none in Rapid mode). We transcribe what you said, measure it, and an AI coach scores it against a clear rubric.

The score (0–100)

Half content, half delivery.

Words per minute, filler words and long pauses are measured directly from your speech. If something can't be measured, we show it as unavailable · we never guess.

XP, levels and streaks

• 10 XP for every full minute you speak, plus 5 XP for finishing a session.
• Each level needs a bit more XP than the last.
• Practice at least once a day (in your timezone) to keep your streak alive.
